Basha Media Stats

Updated 11 October 2026

Basha Media Stats is Basha Media’s channel-reporting tool. It uses YouTube API Services to display performance information for channels whose owners authorize access.

Information and purpose

We retrieve channel identifiers, names, thumbnails and public subscriber/view totals, plus authorized, non-monetary Analytics: daily views, watch time, subscriber gains and losses, content-format breakdowns, leading audience countries and top-video information. We use these records for channel comparisons, charts, monthly summaries and connection diagnostics. Reports contain channel-level statistics, not individual viewer identities. Stats does not upload or edit videos, request Google passwords or retrieve advertising revenue.

Storage and visibility

Automated updates run through GitHub Actions. OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored in GitHub Actions secrets; reporting snapshots are stored in Cloudflare. The dashboard is hosted on Squarespace. Credentials are not included in the reporting feed.

The reporting feed is currently publicly accessible without authentication, including selected metrics obtained through authorized Analytics. Password protection on the dashboard page does not protect that separate feed.

Successful updates maintain roughly thirteen calendar months of reporting history. Failed updates retain previous snapshots, so this reporting window is not an automatic deletion deadline. Connection diagnostics retain status codes and timestamps rather than raw token responses.

Our hosting providers process requests needed to operate the service. Loading externally hosted thumbnails also sends a request to their host. Stats does not sell channel Analytics or use it for advertising.

Your choices

You can revoke access through Google Account permissions. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself immediately erase stored snapshots. To request removal of stored channel data or ask a privacy question, contact contact@bashamedia.me. Removing our copies does not delete anything from YouTube. Google’s own handling is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
